Theory of Demand Supply is common and market works accordingly. The person or a group who understand the theory will make them self efficient in the market.

India has 1.2 billion plus population  - people do not know what they need in their routine life and what not (need vs want) - If we compare the metro city public with non-metro there is a huge gap of understanding the buying behavior. People has got money in their hands and they do not know where it needs to be spent. Effective utilization of resources are lost somewhere. Today people buy happiness with money and they feel that they are getting happy. Spending on Weekend Parties, Dance Clubs, Fire Parties, Yearly Vacations it's all waste of money and time and it will take time to understand this to an individual.  If a person unite with Virtual money (credit card, net banking) they wont be able to conclude with want vs need  and their spending behavior. Spending nature of a common man is become the success mantra for Online shopping sites and they are gaining more.

Flipkart is defining the new Era in the Indian Economy by using perfect combination of demand and supply. A formula for Quick Money :) - however it works in today's market scenarios.

They are creating the good demand by minimum supply to the market. If we take an example for recent smart phone sale - they all sold in minutes. It's the marketing strategy now a days to make an advertisement for the product and make the product demand in the market. There are no distributors / retailers in between of big bang on line sale for smartphones. The huge amount of money is gained and going in pocket of few people.
